This coin, designed by Compatriot Dewey Fry, is available to all members of the DX Chapter, and to all members of the SAR, CAR and DAR as well. The concept of the 'challenge coin' is to challenge fellow members at your local pub, by placing your coin on the bar.  A Compatriot who cannot produce a similar coin must stand for drinks. However, if the Compatriot being challenged does in fact produce a coin, the obligation for the round goes back to the challenger!

 

Of course you don't have to be in a pub to enjoy these beautiful, solid brass and color-enameled coins.  Not only are they a keepsake that every member should own, they make wonderful gifts and honorariums.
